Chapter 1
: Prologue Short:
The fields remained still for the time being. All harvest had been halted and all shops have been closed to make way for the oncoming ceremony. Everyone was busy making decorations, wrapping gifts, and singing songs in his honor. It was the young princes third victory in the great war and with it he was one step closer to settling this war of nations.
Its been many years since the people have seen peace such as this and theyll spend every waking moment drinking, eating, and laughing with their war heroes, including the young prince Zeke. For, in this reprieve, we forget that the past ten years have been nothing but war with the Fortress; a diabolical group of so called Royalty aiming to overthrow our Kingdom. So in our princes honor and victory the people move on with this festival as a sign of pride and hope for our continued success. For us few who remain would dream that one day our families may live without fear anymore.

ZEEEEKE! A young squire came running down the west corridor in search of his mentor. A narrow set of halls filled this section of the castle. With many doors and side halls attached it was easy to get lost if you didnt know your way. Where are you Zeke? He cried out again desperately trying to find him.
FINALLY! Do you
know how
long
I have been looking
for you? He gasped for air after his long run. I have a message for you from Grepher. He wishes toooo
. His sentence was cut short by a young man with blonde hair. He was tall and slender with his tunic on, but with definite muscle tone that would cause even larger men to cower before him. His hint of modesty mixed with pride only lead to his over all aura.
Ill have this one made in green to match my old armor and Ill have this one done in red for tonights festivities. The man spoke to his tailor in hopes of have the perfect suite for the nights celebration to honor not his self but to his families honor. I think that should look quite right on me, dont you?
Oh yes my lord. It shall be most glorious on you. The tailor bowed low with a smile to grace his lord as he turned to leave.
Sorry, my lord, for interrupting you earlier but I have a message for you from Grepher. It seemed urgent. The squire bow too as he raised his hand. In it a piece of folded paper with a crest on the outside resembling a red dragon curved over a shield of gold and black steel. He wishes to meet with you on matters dealing with this.
For the last time, you dont have to be so formal. We are more like friends you and I. he said as he opened the paper revealing an odd sketch of a round metallic object. Did he say what this was?
No. only that you should not show any one else and that he would have my head on a pike and feed me to his pets if I were to see the image before you received it.
Okay, then I shall meet with him. Is he in the Nest? Still fumbling with the paper, Zeke was turning it every which way and holding it to the sun to see if any hidden messages had been written.
Yes, he is expected to be there until tonights festivities begin. He has a new pet. The squire sighed as he admitted to the newest addition of the Nest. And, its a big one.
Oh really? Is it a ridgeback? The princes eyes lit up like a stars waiting for and answer on what had just come.
No, not that big. Its a Razor. Squirming as he said it, the squire rose up from kneeling to look Zeke in the eyes. The squire resembled a smaller version of Zeke with only darker hair and a leaner physique separating them.
A razor is it? Then I shall be there soon to see how the taming is coming along. Zeke had turned to head to the Nest. It was still a fair walk away and he didnt want to waste any time. OH! The squires voice cried out again. Your father wanted to meet you as well.
Thanks Rahz. I shall see him afterwards. Do tell him that. Waving his hand over his shoulder the prince was now in a sprint to Grepher and the Nest. Leaving Rahz to find a way to deliver the message of Zekes tardiness to the King. This is not going to be easy
